Ed Kothbauer

Ed is a business insurance specialist with an emphasis on farms as well. He grew up on the family farm in Mondovi, WI, and also worked at the family’s farm equipment business. Watching his dad, he learned how to sell to farmers at an early age. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Economics (the backbone of a business, according to him).

 

 Ed started his sales career with RJ Reynolds and worked for them for 18 years. Ed started with the agency in 2008, selling business and farm insurance. Through continuing education, he obtained his Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist (AFIS) designation and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. He is also active in the Baraboo River Runners Snowmobile Club and the Baraboo Area Chamber of Commerce.

Outside work, Ed enjoys golfing, going to Badger football games, snowmobiling, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
